The students sharing their hobbies and interests with the students from Russia through a video chat.The connection has been established through epals emailing and forum community for schools to partner with.The objective of the activity was to know the methodology of teaching and learning English outside India and exchange of learning and experience.The aim focuses on improving communication skills amongst students.In this course speaking skills were observed and connection became more pragmatic through the activity and embraced global culture.The primary objective of our school is to introduce or boost international learning,collaborating and fostering relationship
with other institutions overseas that will aid the development as an international educator.
Exploring The Amazing Creature.
In this academic session with the support and motivation of the Management and School Principal Mrs Beena Menon , School, initiated the process to instill a global dimension into the learning experience of students. With lot of excitement students of NEIS from grade Iv to VI participated in the British Council School activity on Asian Elephants .Students researched on different kinds of Elephants and threats and dangers they face. The motive of the activity is to build 21st century skills , boost confidence and to learn the dynamics of international relations especially with regards to international policies related to save the endangered species. It was an integrated approach with subjects like Geography, English and History with special reference to General Knowledge. The activity enhanced the confidence of the students on presentation skills, critical thinking skills, cooperative learning skills and writing skills.
