IMPORTANCE OF TREES

Community & Social Value
Trees are an important part of every community. Our streets, parks, playgrounds and backyards are lined with trees that create a peaceful, aesthetically pleasing environment. Trees increase our quality of life by bringing natural elements and wildlife habitats into urban settings. We gather under the cool shade they provide during outdoor activities with family and friends. Many neighbourhoods are also the home of very old trees that serve as historic landmarks and a great source of town pride. Children were instructed to find the oldest tree in their neighbourhood and write its characteristics and importance and also paste a picture.

WATER, EARTH AND NATURE (COOL QUESTIONS)

Water is just as important as the air we breathe as it is crucial for our survival. Almost all life forms that are present on earth need to survive using water such as human beings, plants, insects, and animals require water for consumption. Portable and freshwater are absolutely necessary for our use and survival. Apart from drinking ,water can be used for many purposes and these include cooking, cleaning, and washing. Water is also used a lot in agriculture. A questionnaire was prepared with cool questions which children attempted sincerely. Children also made many handicraft items out of waste materials.

IMPORTANCE OF FAMILY TREE

A family tree is like a Time Machine and a perfect opportunity to sit with the family members with a hot beverage and relive a thick book of memories that span over various cities and centuries. To imbibe the family values among children the activity on IMPORTANCE OF FAMILY TREE was recently conducted by the ESSENCE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, under the banner of INTACH HERITAGE CLUB.
